LV2 permits for Cubs Night parking can be obtained by residents who live within an LV2 zone or businesses in the LV2 zone. Restrictions in this zone are from 5PM-10PM on dates of all Cubs home games (including the postseason) or concerts at Wrigley Field.
Residents who have a current city vehicle sticker registered in the LV2 zone should receive the permit and a permanent guest pass in the mail (Note: in 2024, these passes will be mailed out on Friday, 3/22). In the winter before Cubs night game and concert season begin, our office will not be able to provide LV2 parking permits, as the zone will not be enforced while we wait for an updated night game and concert schedule.
Important change in 2023: The LV2 zone expanded to include parking restrictions for all Cubs Games. It previously only applied to night games.
Steps
Confirm that you are eligible for LV2 passes. Residences or businesses on a block with physical LV2 signs are eligible. If you live on an adjacent block, please reach out to our office at info@46thward.com to determine your eligibility.
Fill out this online application. Businesses and residents can apply for LV2 parking using this application.
Pick up your free permit at our office at the 46th Ward office, 4544 N. Broadway during office hours (9-5 M-Th, 9-3 M-F, closed each day 12-1pm)

As a service to residents, the 46th Ward Office provides "No Parking" signs to assist with the loading and unloading of moving trucks. These signs are non-enforceable and intended as a courtesy to notify neighbors.
Details and Recommendations
Time Limit: Signs are valid for a 4-hour period only.
Posting Tip: We recommend posting the signs 48 hours in advance of your scheduled move. This gives neighbors adequate time to notice the signs and relocate their vehicles if necessary.
